I am so grateful to have been able to go to such a school where there are teachers who care for their students. The teachers that I had instilled in me great values and morals. I grew in confidence and stood up for what I believed in. This school helped me grow socially and academically. I joined a few clubs each year, and found the number of clubs I participated in increase as my years in high school went by.
I also found that there were so many clubs I could join. It was a great way to get to know some amazing people. I joined volleyball and played on the freshmen and junior varsity team my freshman and sophomore year.
I really did not have anything to be worried about. I found that there were so many resources that I could use to connect myself with other students. It was a new environment with brand new people. Senior: I went to private school in middle school. Other than the issue of inclusivity, Dominion High School has given me life-long friends, a superb high school education, and unforgettable memories. Although I had many friends throughout high school, I still feel like some of the students at Dominion are exclusive and sometimes unfriendly. One thing that I would like to see changed at Dominion is the inclusivity.
I am so grateful for how much I learned at Dominion and how well they prepared me for college. I was challenged in my coursework yet it was very doable if you put the work in. The high school education I received at Dominion was unbeatable. I also joined the french club, American Sign Language Club, and pickleball club. I loved being involved with sports at Dominion because it gave me a sense of community and I made more friends with people of all different grades. I played on numerous sports teams such as the volleyball, basketball, and tennis team. Senior: Overall, I had a pretty good high school experience.
